It was March of 2020 when the world flipped on its head and I quickly realized that there was no way I could manage the demands of the business aspects of my practice. I’ve been in full-time private practice for over a decade and have tried various practice and billing tools on and offline but increase in insurance complexities and ever changing technology and compliance issues were too much for me to keep up with and handle on my own. In desperation, I posted in a local mom’s group to see if there were any tech savvy parents looking for some extra work to help migrate my practice over to an up-to-date EHR HIPAA compliant billing platform and teach it to me.
